# How do I know if I have been booked for a job?

Wondering if you’ve been booked? This article explains how to tell when a client has confirmed your job on The Right Fit and what happens next.

**How will I know if I’ve been booked for a job on The Right Fit?**

When a client selects you and presses the **‘Book’** button, you’ll receive a **confirmation via email, SMS**, and a **notification on your Dashboard**.

That’s why it’s important to keep your contact details up to date and check in to **theright.fit** regularly, so you never miss a booking.

**To check the status of your applications:**

1.  Go to the **‘My Applications’** section
    
2.  Your status will show as:
    
    -   **Pending** – the client is still deciding
        
    -   **Booked** – congratulations, you got the gig!
        
    -   **Declined** – unfortunately, you weren’t selected this time
