What is the TRF service fee?

See the TRF service fee for your plan, when the rate is set, and what to pay if you receive separate invoices.

The TRF service fee applies to paid and product-plus-payment collaborations. It doesn't apply to gifting-only collaborations.

You pay it on top of the creator's quote, so the creator receives their quoted fee in full.

How much is the TRF service fee?

Your rate depends on your plan:

  • Free: 20%.

  • Growth: 4%.

  • Legacy Pro: 12%, for existing clients on this retired plan.

For example, if your creator quotes $1,000 and you're on Growth, the TRF service fee is $40. Your total is $1,040 before any applicable tax.

When is my rate set?

Your TRF service fee rate is set when the creator accepts your Proposal.

Changing plans later doesn't automatically change the rate on a Proposal that's already been accepted, or on its invoices. If you're upgrading for a lower fee, make the change before the creator accepts your next Proposal.

Why do I have two invoices?

Some teams receive separate invoices for the creator's fee and the TRF service fee. Others pay both amounts through a combined invoice. Existing invoices keep their original format.

If you receive separate invoices, pay each one to settle the full amount. Each has its own payment status and receipt. A receipt for the creator's fee doesn't mean the TRF service fee has also been paid, or vice versa.

Does GST apply?

GST applies to the TRF service fee for Australian-registered companies. Companies registered outside Australia aren't charged GST on the TRF service fee.

Check the tax breakdown on your invoice for the amount that applies to your payment.

Models and actors

However, we do charge a commission for models, actors, etc.
