How do Invoice Payments work on The Right Fit?
Invoice Payments give you access to larger, higher-profile jobs that typically come with bigger budgets. For these jobs, the client sets the payment terms, and you’ll be paid 30 days after the job is completed.
Just like with our Fast Payment system, we handle all the admin for you. We’ll generate and send purchase orders and invoices on your behalf.
When am I officially booked?
Once a client presses the ‘Book’ button and enters the agreed date and rate, your booking is confirmed. You’ll receive confirmation via SMS, email, and in-app notification. This message will include:
Job name
Date of the job
Agreed rate
When should I expect payment?
For Invoice Payment jobs, expect to receive payment on or around the due date based on the agreed payment terms.
For example:
If the job took place on August 1 with 30-day terms, payment should arrive on August 30, directly to your bank account.
You’ll also get an in-app notification that says “You’ve been paid” once the funds are released.
Note: Delays may occur due to weekends, public holidays, or bank processing times. All payments are handled through Stripe.
Haven’t received your payment?
If it’s been 5 days past the due date, follow these steps:
Check the job date
Go to My Jobs > Booked in the app. Confirm the job date, rate, and payment terms.
Check for the ‘You’ve been paid’ notification
If you see this message in your inbox, move to step 3. If not, skip to step 6.
Check your bank account
If the payment isn’t showing, proceed to step 4.
Log in to your Stripe account
Ensure your bank details are accurate and up to date. Funds may be sitting in your Stripe account if incorrect bank information was entered. Stripe works similarly to PayPal—once we send the payment, it lands in your Stripe account before transferring to your bank.
Check if your Stripe account is restricted
If restricted, you may need to upload additional identification or documents. Visit Stripe Support for help with your account.

Contact our customer service team and include the following:
Your full name
Account email address
TRF Job ID
